Reservations

We’re Open: 12:00 pm until late, 7 days a week.

We take reservations in our main dining area or for a high seat in our bar area, which overlooks the bar, kitchen and Waitematā Harbour.

Our Kitchen Counter is a truly personal experience, perched right at the kitchen, watching the kitchen team work their magic.

To get in touch directly with the restaurant, text or call us on 0225 AHI AKL (022 524 4255).

For bookings of greater than 8 guests, it’s best to email kiaora@ahirestaurant.co.nz.

For larger groups and during certain events, Ahi may hold a credit card on file. This card is held securely, and would only be charged in the case of a no-show without prior communication with Ahi. The charge would be $100 per person.

Ahi is proud to use only the finest New Zealand produce.

Across 8 episodes of their TV Show, A New Zealand Food Story, Ben and his team seek to answer the question “what is New Zealand food?” The series sees the Ahi team juggle both the logistics of designing and building the physical restaurant, while at the same time travelling the country to seek inspiration on the elements of New Zealand that will shape the menu at Ahi.
